Transcription ships with the app and needs no setting up: Record posts to this site's own whisper, which forwards to the chsiegm box. Fill this in only to point somewhere else. If the box is unreachable the app says so and you carry on with the keyboard microphone.

Choose something long that you will not forget. It never leaves this browser — it is what encrypts your Roam token, so if you lose it the stored token cannot be recovered and you would mint a fresh one in Roam.

Your graph and token are stored encrypted. The passphrase decrypts them here, in this browser — unlock once on a device and it remembers, so you never type the token on your phone.
